The principle of the treatment is to create temporary small, microscopic channels in the skin, which activate your body’s natural skin-healing ability, increasing the production of collagen and elastin. 

These micro channels vary in depth depending on the area of the face being treated, the condition being targeted and the overall skin health.  This treatment helps to make your skin look healthier, brighter and provides a radiant glow. 

Following a SkinPen precision microneedling treatment clients can expect temporary redness and mild swelling, similar to a mild sunburn, which typically resolves within 12-48 hours. The skin may feel slightly tight or sensitive for the first few days after treatment which is normal. 

As collagen production is stimulated, gradual improvements in skin texture, tone, and the appearance of fine lines can be observed over the course of several weeks. To ensure optimal results and support the healing process, it is essential to follow post-treatment care guidelines, including avoiding direct sun exposure and when to restart your skin care regime.
